Total Number of Vacancies: 189

Name of the jobs: Assistant Lineman (Lineman trade/ Electrician trade)

Reservation Details:

1. General: 114 Vacancies

2. Rural Quota: 49 Vacancies

3. Ex Military Personnel: 13 Vacancies

4. Kannada Medium: 07 Vacancies

5. Project Displacement: 06 Vacancies

Age Bounds: All interested and eligible candidates age should be in the range of 18-35 years for General Merit candidates, Age not more than 38 years for Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates & age not more than 40 years for SC/ ST & Category I candidates. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Academic track: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete 10th Class & certificate of having 3 years “Lineman trade/ or ay Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB or KPTCL in Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited.

Selection Criteria: All interested and eligible candidates would be selected on the basis marks secured in the qualifying examination. Eligible candidates will be called for Endurance Test marks secured in the qualifying examination. Eligible candidates will be called for Endurance Test.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates are required to pay Rs.500/- for General category, Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, need to pay Rs.250/- for SC/ ST category by using Net Banking option, any Bank ATM cum Debit card, Internet Banking/ Candidates can also pay the Application fee using Off Line i. e., pay by Challan at State Bank of India Branches.
